As Covid-19 restrictions started to be eased, I was soon spreading my wings to match. First up was a visit to Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders. This attractive east-coast fishing port is 43 miles from Edinburgh and eight miles from Berwick-upon-Tweed, placing it within six miles of the English border. The planned reopening of Reston station, just over five miles from Eyemouth on the East Coast Main Line, should lead to better links for the town.
I had only visited on one previous occasion, and felt that a second look would be in order.
