April 2022: Edinburgh: Silverknowes to Cramond Brig

This post illustrates a picturesque walk in North Edinburgh from Silverknowes Golf Course to Cramond Village, then along the right bank of the River Almond to Cramond Brig.

My starting point was Silverknowes Golf Course

As I climb up into Cramond Village, the weather seems to be changing

This goes back a bit!

Historic Cramond Kirk

The lowest part of the River Almond forms a natural harbour

I'll be doing most of this, but stopping just short of the A90

Still suitable for tying up

Ruin, weir and empty benches

A short section of stairs begins here

Shortly thereafter, Cramond Brig comes into view

My endpoint looks like Walking-Route Central!
